# Adding a JAMS Text Template to Your Sequence

1. If you haven't already done so, [open a JAMS text template](/adobe-premiere-basics-windows-edition/adding-text-and-transitions/opening-the-jams-social-media-video-text-template.md).
2. Click the **Workspaces** button (upper-right corner) and select **Captions and Graphics**. The **Essential Graphics** panel will open on the right.
3. In the **Essential Graphics** panel, click the **Browse** tab.
4. To find a JAMS Text Template, click the **Local Templates Folder** checkbox. Then type **JAMS** in the **Essential Graphics** search field. All of the JAMS Text Templates you've added to the **Essential Graphics** panel will appear.&#x20;
5. Click and drag a **JAMS Text Template** into your sequence. **Note**: The **JAMS Text Template** should be placed in a video track above your video clips.
