# Downloading a Transcription of a Teams Meeting

1. Click the **Chat** button.
2. In the **Meeting chat** panel, a **recording** of your meeting will appear. Click the **recording**.
3. **Teams** will open a **browser window** on your computer. If prompted, enter your UWM username and password. A recording of your meeting will appear in **Stream**. 
4. In the **Transcript** panel, click the **Download** button. 
5. In the drop-down menu, select **Download as .docx**.
6. Navigate to and select a download location for the **.docx file**. 
7. Click **Save** to download the **.docx file.**
